SUPERVISED PLAY for IMPROVERS

 OAKE VILLAGE HALL

1st and 2nd WEDNESDAYS of the month

 4pm to 6.30pm

 £5 per session

An opportunity to bid and/or play a number of prepared hands on a particular theme. Each session will comprise a board by board instructional review, highlighting key aspects of bidding in the Acol system and play as declarer and in defence (and common mistakes made at the bridge table!)

The sessions are primarily aimed at those who have learned to play recently and wish to consolidate their basic bidding and improve their card play. Will also be suitable for anyone whose bidding is not always accurate, or play technique sound, who wishes to improve their results.

NOV 5th and 12th Bidding in the Contested Auction

Overcalls and Doubles

DEC 3rd and 10th Declarer Play

In No Trumps and Suit Contracts

Defence, Bidding Strong Hands, Stayman and Red Suit Transfers, Slam Bidding, Coping with Interference.
