Q Can I look around the Hall ?
A Yes just contact us to arrange a convenient date & time.
Q Do you have crockery & cutlery ?
A Yes we have enough for 160 place settings.
Q What about glasses ?
A Not many so it is best to organise your own.
Q We would like to use outside caterers ?
A No problem we have a list of tried & tested caterers that we can send to you.
Q I would like to have a bar for my function can you help?
A Yes we know of public houses who do outside bars .
Also Majestic Wines of Wellington Road, Taunton do a very good deals on glasses, wines & beers on a sale or return basis.
The hall now holds a license for the sale of alcoholic drinks., and may be willing to run a bar if requested. This is subject to normal licensing regulations, but it is essential that this is discussed at the time of booking. The license manager will be informed and his agreement obtained.
Q What about entertainers?
A We have a list of groups , discos &entertainers.
Q Do you have a specific area for bar facilities?
A Yes, the green room (leading from the kitchen and stage)has a non slip floor, sink & toilet facilities especially for use as a bar area.
Q Can I hire the computer suite?
A Yes.Please contact the hall secretary.
Q Are there camping facilities on the grounds?
A No
Q Is it possible to have a BBQ?
A Yes we have an area just outside the kitchen for BBQs.
Q What is the latest time we can leave the hall?
A All music must be finished by midnight & the hall vacated by one o'clock in the morning.
Q What if we need extra time to clear up & we have run out of time?
A clear up time can be arranged (at a favourable rate ) for the following morning.
